The Gridiron Standard – You may have seen it; you may have heard of it. But what really is it? We’re excited to go in depth about our refined product standards aimed to bring you a customer experience like no other.


Player skill development is usually the first aspect of service that any youth sports organization strives to provide. It’s a driving factor for parents to put their children in sports in the first place. Gridiron has set out to go bigger. Our goal is to create a consistent & enriching experience for both the player, and the whole family. Through The Gridiron Standard, we aim to empower each child in our program to become the best athlete, teammate, and person they can be- on and off the field!


The 9 product standards are: Customer Service, Communication, Accommodation, Game Day Experience, Organization, Quality Coaching, Quality Officiating, Customer Memories, and Optimization. These standards were built from years of leadership in youth sports from leagues across the country. Let’s look at what each of these standards means for your family’s experience with Gridiron!

Customer Service

Our Customer Service standard was developed to ensure that every customer receives the same great service no matter where they are. For us, that means making sure you know you can reach us in many ways! We prioritize both digital and game day customer service. That means you can expect to receive quality service no matter if you’re emailing, leaving us a note on social media, calling your commissioner, or receiving help on game day!



Our goal is to be able to answer your questions before you ask them! Effective communication is so important for us to prevent any confusion, and maximize a seamless and quality experience. Each  league commissioner’s communication schedule helps to make sure you always know the expectations of participating in each Gridiron league or event!



The Accommodation product standard was developed because we understand how important the needs of our players, coaches, and parents are. Gridiron’s standards were developed with a commitment to taking care of our customers, and making every person feel like our number one priority.


Game Day Experience

When you’re approaching a Gridiron field, we want you to have an unforgettable feeling. It’s an excitement that can’t be described, an atmosphere that exudes energy. This is the experience that we strive to create for each player, coach, and parent even before the first whistle on game day.



Organization is so important when it comes to a worry-free customer experience. The Gridiron Standard was designed to promote the highest level of organization at every one of our leagues. The organizational product standard helps to ensure that each of our customers can always feel at ease, knowing right where to find all the details they need, every season!


Quality Coaching

Quality Coaching in any sport is extremely important for an excellent all-around experience. At Gridiron, we want to help our coaches consistently hold themselves to the highest standards as a role model for their players. We’ve done this by launching a Coach’s Library with resources for getting started or continuing as a coach with Gridiron. You’ll also find a Gridiron x NFA Collaboration series of training videos and coach’s clinics to help you take your coaching to the next level!


Quality Officiating

Quality Officiating, just like Quality Coaching, is key to providing an unforgettable experience. Gridiron’s top priority for each official on our fields is that they also consistently hold themselves to the highest standards as a role model for the children. It’s not by accident that this standard resembles that of a coach. By holding our officials to the same expectations as our coaches, we help to promote positive interactions and focus toward the same goal- creating a great experience for everyone involved!



Customer Memories are what The Gridiron Standard and our overall game day experience are built on. The importance of creating lasting team and family memories is not lost on the team here at Gridiron, and we are continuing to make improvements in every area.



Our goal is to never stop improving, and never stop learning from you. We place a great emphasis on creating ways to continue to enhance the customer experience through direct feedback from our families, coaches, and officials.
